The Age Group for Vaccination

  • 45 – 60 years

ID Proof 1: AADHAR CARD (Compulsory)

In addition to the above mentioned common process for both age groups. Age group between 45 – 60 years should carry a comorbid certificate. 

What is a Comorbid Certificate: It is a prescription or a written statement provided by a medical practitioner that the person between the age group of 45 – 60 years is suffering from medical diseases like high sugar, kidney problems, lungs problems, heart disease, cancer or any other disease that can work as a catalyst for COVID-19, then and only then is the person between the age group of 45 – 60 years of age is eligible for COVID vaccination at their nearest medical center.

There will two dosages of vaccination to be received by each individual below are the break down for both vaccinations available in the market:

COVAXIN: 1st dosage received after registering in Cowin should be followed up 2nd dosage after 21 days. 

COVISHIELD: 1st dosage received after registering in Cowin should be followed up 2nd dosage after 19 days. 

Price of Vaccination

The price of the vaccination has been fixed the government authority of India at private hospitals at rupees 250 for each dosage. Therefore your total billing amount to be paid in advance will be rupees 500 for both the dosage at the place of vaccination before the process begins.
